Although methane measurements can now be made using micro-met techniques the majority of measurements are made using static chambers. Measuring Methane with this approach has proved difficult to record on a catchment scale due to the spatial heterogenic nature of the ecosystems that we work in. This group is to bring together people who measure methane and then extrapolate to a larger scale.

Members of this group can share ideas, methods and flag up any issues regarding the upscaling of methane fluxes.
